Board of Ethics

In discharging the duties of their respective offices, Lewisboro’s employees and elected and appointed officials must ensure that their private interests do not conflict with the public interest.  In 1970, the Town adopted a Code of Ethics to guide the conduct of its employees.  The Code provides for the appointment of a Board of Ethics which responds to inquiries from Town officials and employees about their current or proposed conduct with confidential advisory opinions providing them with guidance about complying with the Code
